If I would masturbate and then ejaculate,
collect the semen in say a plastic or
glass vessel of sorts, and then put it in
my wife's vagina almost immediately, is
she likely to become Pregnant? Will the
use of a syringe help?
I am asking this question because we are
desperate to have a child, and due to an
acute problem, we can not have natural
sex. Please do reply as we really are
pretty desperate. If anyone has a better
way to do this, without ofcoure going for
techniques like artificial insemination,
please do help us out.

I don't see why it wouldn't work. If you
placed the syringe deep into her vagina
before ejecting the semen (as close to her
cervix as possible), and then instructed
her to lay on her back with her hips
slightly elevated (so that the semen pools
against her cervix) for at least 20
minutes, you should be able to get some of
the little guys in there.
It's unfortunate that you two can't have
sex. Do you mind me asking what problem is
keeping you from doing it? Do you think a
pregnancy will aggravate this problem?
Will it interfere with delivery?
