Q: Unexplained bone pain

I am not insured, so it is not a possibility for me to see a doctor about this.
I tried a free clinic and they charged me full rate as they said i make too much money making minimum wage. They did a cbc, and pretty much told me I am fine. Now, even though I send them what I can when I can, they are threatening bill collectors. What a wonderful country I live in, sarcasm fully intended.
Here is what is happening, and I hope perhaps someone somewhere will be able to suggest some sort of relief for this.
Basically, my bones hurt. They hurt when they touch each other. I have to sleep with a huge pillow between my knees at night. My arms bones hurt if I lay them on a flat hard surface, such as a desk. It hurts my rib bones if someone tickles me.
Also, I get bruises out of the blue. No idea where they come from. I am severely anemic, last cbc was like 25,000 white blood cells.
And, a strange rash that looks like someone poked me over and over with a needle and it left a bright red spot (looks like blood just beneath my skin)where they poked.
Any advice would be so totally appreciated, as it hurts to hurt so much.

Even though you are uninsured you can go to the emergency room if you are in great pain and they will (should not) not turn you away.

You may even qualify for state aid, like Medicaid.

Your symptoms should be evaulated; this is not normal.

there are deficiencies that cause bone pain but the other symptoms could also be needing attention best to get some good medical help!even if it has to cost!

Primary Hyperparathyroidism could be another cause.
Check your vitamin d levels, and for hypercalcemia.

Thank you for the responses. I have applied for medicaid, and am waiting to hear back from them. I am also checking into a clinic to see if they can see me. I was hoping all this would pass, or that if I ignored it, nature would take its course. Apparently not.

I am fairly scared, and truly appreciate your help. I shall keep you posted...It is probably something small.

Thanks again,
GypsyGin

gypsygin, don't be scared, keep positive and wait and see what the tests reveal. I have had alot of blood tests and have an appointment to see a specialist next week. I have had my bone pain for over 6 months now and sometimes it is just unbearable but the doctors have assured me it it not anything sinister. They think my bone pain may be a hormone imbalance. As I say keep positive and I will keep you posted. Take Care

Pinkgin,

I do so hope your doctors find a solution for you. It is very distressing to be in pain most every day.

Thanks again for the advice and support, and do keep me posted.

I am logging off to call that clinic now.

Bright Blessings,
GypsyGin
