Hi .. I have woke up this morning and realised I am on a period .. I am bleeding heavy as I always do when Im on ..I had slight cramps this morning which seem to have eased .. no back pain though and I am not as emotional as I always get when I am on .. It has only been two weeks since I finished my last period .. Confused .. Anyone any ideas? Is it natural for it to be qo quick between periods ? Dont know wether I should be worried or not ...

This is not a normal cycle. You should discuss this with your gynecologist. It may just be a flux in hormones or it could signal something that needs medical attention. It is impossible to know without testing and investigation by your doctor.

It's not unusual for me.
I am lucky to get as long as two weeks before my period starts again. For a while there, I was 20 days on, 10 days off, then 20 days on again. Last time it was only 9 days before I started bleeding again.

It really depends what is normal for you, and even then, it is not always the same. My last period was really strange, 7 days very faint smear of blood on pad, then woke up the next day to blood everywhere and heavy next 7 days. This really surprised me, even after 19 years of periods, yet 19 years ago I was bleeding for only 3 days a month.

What I am trying to say is that, in my experience, your cycle can vary an awful lot from month to month. There are lots of things that can disrupt it. What it normal for one woman may not be normal for another. Not everyone has a regular cycle - I know I don't.
