Let me start by saying I have IBS accompanied with sometimes heavy rectal bleeding. Up until about 5 years ago I was otherwise healthy. Then I started to have migraine headaches which i now take imitrex for and it works very well but is expensive. Sometimes I don't have one for months and then will have one everyday for a week or more. they last anywhere from 12-16 hours and are accompanied by blurry vision, nausea, and vomiting.Last year I had dermoid cysts covering both ovaries and had surgery during which the dr. kept me on the operating table for almost an hour longer than planned because what he saw when he cut me open he was sure it was cancer and waited on lab results which were negative for cancer. Then lab called back later and said it was borderline cancer. I saw a cancer specialist to schedule hysterectomy and discuss options since I have no children and am only 23. He sent for second opinion who said not cancer so he reccomended not to do the surgery although he wasn't comfortable with the conflicting diagnosis from both labs. After that the migraines seemed to let up for a while but now are back. I can hardly do anything like go to movies, or a theme park, or anything else that I don't get one and it is ruining my marraige. I'm not sure that these are related to the cysts or IBS. I also have awful time sleeping at night constantly waking up with pain in my arm/elbows so bad I sometimes have to get up and can't go back to sleep. Also, sometimes wake up with back pain like that. Seem to have more pain than I should from being touched around shoulder area which makes my muscles feel like they are on fire and my husband just calls me a baby. I'm really not sure what to do but it is ruining my life as I hardly ever feel good.
