Hello, I started having severe back pain in Oct 2008. I had pain down the right leg and had an MRI done. I have had 2 previous lamenectomies on L4-L5 and L5-S1 close to 30 years ago, I also had osteomyelitis at L5/S1 which was removed via surgery. In January I started having groin pain and severe butt pain. I could not sit for any length of time. I took off work for 6 weeks to heal. I was feeling better and went and got an EMG, which showed negative. I then returned to work for 6 weeks and I am having same symptoms again. Severe low back pain, groin pain, pain and burning in right thigh and leg weakneess. My MRI from Oct showed mild retrloethesis at L2/L3, severe foriminal stenosis on right at L4/L5 and bilateral foriminal stenosis at L5/S1 with autofusion at L5/S1. I am going to see a neurosurgeon in July. I cannot continue to take off of work and need some kind of releif. Could this be a low back stability issue? One Dr has told me it may be related to scar tissue, or S1 disk. I am on plavix and have 5 stents, so they are leary of testing or ESI shots. Any comments would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, RJF614
