Q: Underactive thyroid and failing memory

In the past two years I've been through multiple things, I was diagnosed with an underactive Thyroid which I take 25mcg of Levothyroxine for, it seemed to take away certain symptoms like dry skin on my face, bad bowel problems etc, but then this sleeping problem hit me, I'd jerk awake and take a massive gasp for air, but now that seems to of passed and I get these powerful feelings of fatigue during the day, even after 9 hours sleep. I also get random moments of feeling like I'm being "pulled" to one side, like my balance is disjointed and it feels almost like vertigo. My eyes sting all day long and I constantly feel the need to nap (but I don't give in to it and carry on anyway) my memory started failing me too, which I'm being tested for, long term is fine, just short term and concentration is affected, anyone any ideas what could be causing this? I also seem to suffer what appears to be massive anxiety attacks, I feel terribly sick, like my body is failing and it sometimes makes me break down into tears. I'm 26, male, correct weight, a student working part time, admittedly don't get enough exercise (had to stop due to massive ectopic heartbeats, which also seem to of cleared up) and don't drink, smoked but quit, don't drink much caffeine etc...HELP!
