Hello,

I'm 17 and have an uncircumcised penis.I've been reading posts about the same problems I have and they've been a lot of help, but I am still confused on how the penis is suppose to be/look when erect and flaccid.

Not long ago my gf had pulled the foreskin back when it was erect until it was wrapped right under the head where I could actually see the head. I though this wasn't normal because it was really painful and the head was really sensitive. Nothing tore so I wasn't panicking.

I think what I'm trying to ask is: Is it normal for the skin to go back that far with that much pain?

P.S

This has happened twice.

I don't think that's quite normal. I'm uncut, and I can pull the skin back all the way on my erect penis, exposing the head with ease. There's no tension or pain at all. My penis is a normal size and of normal dimensions in every way. I'd check with your doc, to be sure.

The foreskin should easily retract down your shaft to below your glans (the head). The frenulum (on the bottom of your penis) will limit how far down the foreskin will go. You can find lots of pictures on the Internet of the uncut or uncircumcised penis to give you an idea of the variations of foreskins that appear in nature.

It sounds like the opening of the foreskin is a bit tight. You can make the opening a bit larger by stretching the skin. See this website for an easy exercise: http://pages.suddenlink.net/manual_methods /phimosis.html.
