Not really~

I mean I don't get them. Never did, never will.

Honestly I think they are a hassle to have.

What if you were sleeping over at a friend's??

You're gonna have this huge bulge and I think it's going to be embarrassing.

I wouldn't worry to much.

Also, they say everybody has them because of almost every guy do get them.

It's just that you and I are the rare species of men in our society. :]

Yes..Its a sympton of erectile dysfunction. Please visit sexologist immediately. They will do you penil regidity test for half an hour and then report will come up by showing whethere blood suppy to penis is enough or not ? if not then they will give you another treatment. I faced this issue. Even I am also not getting morning erection since last few months.

As I said before, I never got "morning wood."

And I have yet to experience erectile dysfunction.

If you have a overall erection problem along with morning erections then there is a high chance of having erectile dysfunction.

What you have described in your post is completely normal.

I mean for me it'll be problem if my erection was hard to maintain in the presence of my girlfriend. But when masturbating? Not a problem.

And you getting soft after ejaculation is, as I said, normal.

Happens to every guy.

I hope this helps.

I am aware of that, as I said before overall erection problem along with lack of morning wood means you might have erectile dysfunction.

You don't have an overall erection problem. Nope, nada, none existent as of now. But you do have a nonexistent morning erection. But because you don't have a overall erection problem you do not have to worry about the fact you possibly might have erectile dysfunction. Because you don't.

All the erection problems you listed including getting soft after ejaculation is normal and does not pose any problem at all. So there is nothing to worry about there.

If you are really worried you can ask your doctor who will be able to give a 100% correct answer on whether you have or not a erectile dysfunction.

But I am pretty sure. No, I'm definite on the fact that you don't have this disorder.

So relax :]

Cheers,

Peter

Like you guys, I have not been experiencing morning wood as well. By that I mean waking up in the morning (8AM) with an erection. However, I do have erections at night when I am asleep (~4AM). Next time, stick your hand down your pants when you are half-awake to see if you have an erection.

It is also perfectly normal and a scientific fact that erection goes away after ejeculation, a period called the refractory phase.

Morning & Night Erections
The time I get morning erections is when I have vivid (non-sexual) dreams just before I awake. My erection stays for awhile because it becomes very hard.

Sometimes when sleeping and waking just slightly, I notice that I have an erection also. However, it doesn't hold unless I have like I said a vivid dream before awaking.

And I don't know what it means to have this happen but I don't mind it as I'm not exactly what someone would call a young person. I am a senior citizen as they tend to call you.

For some reason "every body" is different and even though we all have the same male gender more or less, it's been by experience during my adult life that it depends on how ones body is made and maintained.

Like what is your testosterone levels? From 18 to 30 years of age they are very high and contribute to how often you can get erections. At those ages, I remember getting erections very easily and sustaining them for a long period of time. And I really didn't see any serious drop off until I reached 65 years of age. I still get erections but now they take longer to achieve and they can be persitant when I have very vivid (non-sexual) dreams and wake up with them. My girl friend thinks I'm having a sexual dream even though I'm not. And that is still puzzeling to me.

So, get your testosterone checked. I understand if they are over 500 you are in good shape and if they are lower than that, then you need to see a doctor for further evaluation.

First off I'm not sure that I would take medical advice from a guy in a pink shirt and a green tie, especially about a hard on. GET YOU TESTOSTERONE LEVEL CHECKED. Are you fat? are you living a sedentary lifestyle ? these thing and more can lower your test levels.

if you are drinking alot and often then this will affect your erections greatly. It has happened to my husband. it is not pretty! stop drinking alcohol! he no longer has morning erections, and he has trouble maintaining erections during sex sometimes.
