My wife has been to several doctors here in Idaho Falls, Idaho and her new doctor is internal medicine MD and has done several blood test to find out what is going on with her problem to be able to discharge waste from her stomach. She has two operation one to clean her stomach out and having her lower intestines moved up to make another whole to allow her stomach to empty and still has trouble going to the bathroom doing a number 2. She goes without a number 2 for months and we have to go the emergency room to have her stomach cleaned out. She had bowl structure had to go in and had this fixed. She has headaches and back pain and has gain weight since have been together. Before we got together she was so thin you could see her bones and know she has gained 100 pounds and still fluctuates to where she will start to lose weight to gaining weight. I am looking for a doctor to answer my wife problem. She also has blood in her stool and is black all the time. Help me husband.

Has she had a colonoscopy? I would push for this. Black stool could be bleeding in her stomach or intestines or an infection. Is she seeing a GI doctor? She needs a specialist. Get her in a soon as you can.

Have her bring a list of ALL her symptoms (headache, etc), when they started (anything she can think of that may have been happening at the time to bring it on), and if anything makes her symptoms better or worse. Also, if she's ever had any issues with her digestion or anything (if she used to have an eating disorder, she needs to tell the doctor). Both of you sit down together and make a list of any questions you have to ask the doctor. You guys are paying the doctor, so he works for you. Don't let him give up.

Good luck. I really hope they find what's causing this soon.
