Q: Unable to control bladder
asked by: DoctorQuestion on February 28th, 2009
The past few weeks I have not been able to control my bladder, I would just urinate and have not been able to stop it. Also my urine had gone cloudy and I get a lot of discharge. I have also just developed a lump behind my left ear its giving me headaches and tooth ache and it hurts to touch. I was wondering if all these things are related and if so what could be causing them?

Urinary and Bladder Disorders Answer A5919

According to the data you provided, you might be experiencing several conditions which are not related. The decreased ability to control urination and the cloudy discharge might indicate urine infection. The lump behind the ear might be enlarged lymph node due to inflammation in some of the surrounding organs. The toothache might be due to caries. It might also be causing the lump behind the ear.
You might want to visit your family doctor for the urine infection and have urine culture done and antibiotics prescribed. As for the toothache, visit to a dentist is recommended to treat the possible caries.
