Dear babicakes19,

After deciding to have a baby no matter if you have already tried or not you should consult your doctor that will perscribe you some tests that are compulsory for pregnancy planning. The doctor will examine your secretion and probably your feminine hormones, the chlamydia test is necessary also. Do not worry and do not be afraid! It is not painful nither embarassing! You could buy also an ovulation test - it wil help you find out your "fertility days". But please, do not buy it right away, as I said before when planning pregnancy you`d have to prepare your body for it and do the necessary tests. The same should do your boy friend doesn`t matter if you or he think his sperm is good. Men could have some small or not so small infections without any symptoms. I am underlining those tests because it will help you giving birht to a healthy child.

Parenthood is a great responsibility and you have to be sure that this is the right father for your child, so you`ll have to think about those four months that you spent together. Is it enough to get knowing him, are you sure he`s a resposible person and would be a doog father?

I am sure you do not have a big conception problem, probably you just haven`t spotted your ovulation. Make an appointment with your doctor and everything will be fine, you will have a wonderful baby.

About the emotional problems - noone who is a resposible and good potential parent will blame you that you didn`t conceive without even knowing the real cause for this, without even seeing a specialist. I hope his sperm is good but how does he know, did he checked it. And even if the problem is with you you didn`t do it on purpose nither want it so noone has the right to blame you.

I wish you the best of luck and I am waiting forward to hear from you after you consult your doctor! Excuse me for my bad English, it is not my native language but I hope it is good enough to express what I wanted to explain you. 2thumbs
