hi im 21 and I have been having sex since i was 18 years old. I have never climaxed before! I have tried EVERYTHING I could think of and took all the advice to try and have one. Everything feels great and I almost always get to the point to where my legs shake but then the end result never happens. My ex bf of 4 years always wanted to know why and frankly so do I!! I am beginning to think that something must be wrong me. Can you even have kids if you are unable to climax?? I am starting to get stressed and sad over this.

Hello and welcome to eHealth Forum!

Well, human beings apart from probably dolphins are the only ones to have sex for pleasure. The main purpose of having sex is to reproduce (scientifically speaking). So as long as there is an intercourse, viable sperm and viable egg there is a possibility of pregnancy. So even if you do not have the classical orgasm you can conceive.

Not all women have the classical orgasm. The idea is to enjoy. If you do, it is fine. There is no need to stress yourself out trying to achieve what someone else has and in the process losing all the pleasure you are receiving. This also does not mean that you are abnormal. Every woman enjoys sex in her own way. So relax!
