I had an umbilical hernia repaired laproscopicly last year. After surgery I was in a lot of pain. I noticed the bump above my belly button immediately after surgery and when I asked my doctor I was told it was fluid and it would go away. My stomach also seemed as though I was 6 months pregnant and never went back to a normal flat stomach like I had prior to surgery. I had a ct which showed fatty substance around a re occurring hernia. I just had another surgery this time going in right above my belly button. I STILL have this bulge. It feels rock hard and looks bigger than it did prior to surgery. Is this going to ve here forever? Is there anyway to remove the bumb?

same thing here.
hello , i just had that kind of surgery too ,
surgeon told me i wasn't going to have a scar because the hernia was small and he would go threw my belly.
when i woked up i saw a 3 inches long scar bellow my belly and 5 days after my belly started popping out and like you it's bigger than before.
if it doesn't go away I'm thinking about some justice actions against that surgeon.
12 days after surgery now.
