Q: Ultrasound baby measurements

I am 28 weeks pregnant now with twins and am hoping my doctor will allow another ultrasound this week.. When I went in for an ultrasound at 24 weeks the boys were measuring the size of a 28 and 27 week baby.. Has this happened to anyone else?? I know that I might just be having big babies.. But did they push up your due date because one of my doctors said once they give a due date you stick by it.. But that doctor is not really a nice doctor..

Not everyone is going to have an answer for you. You specifically asked if this has happened to anyone else and it looks like, of the people who read this thread, the answer was no.

Did you get your U/S? Are the babies still measuring big?

I cant really answer your question about the size of your babies. But I do know that the due date can change each time you have an ultrasound. Mine was Sept 10 at 7 weeks ultrasound and then it changed to Sept 5th at my 20 weeks ultrasound. But according to my LMP my due date is Aug 10.

So who the heck knows...lol. They say that you should give or take two weeks before and after your due date for the most accurate guess cause there really is NO WAY a doctor or anyone else can know when the baby is ready. Unless of course you are induced or have a c-section.

how are you doing by the way? Has there been anymore problems?

My due date is moved. They estimate based on size, if the baby is growing quiker- he'll want to come out quicker. BTW have you done a 3D ultrasound yet? It's amazing. I did mine at 3D babyface in westwood.
