It grosses me out, this problem ive had for years. My arm pits seem to have a "5 oclock shadow" like a male would have after shaving. Its a dark gray color. I scrub and scrub every morning in the shower but it never fades. I am too embarrassed to wear camis or tank tops, that would reveal my hiteous armpits. Could it be from sweating when I get hot? How do I get rid of it?

I have this problem too...its because the hair on our armpits is really dark...usually it will fade and if you are REALLY self concious try putting some coverup on ur pits...it sounds wierd but it does work!

There's got to be others out there, have you searching the web, maybe googling it? or go to your local health department? I'm very self conscious too sweetie. Razz

Ugly Armpits :(
I have the same problem and I'm only 18 years old!!!
I hate how dark it is. I always scrub every time I shower, and every time I shave my armpits, the darkness never seems to fade.

It's so embarrassing to raise my arms because then people will think it's hairy when I just shaved!!!!

i have this same problem! when i went to the doctor she said it was probably that my skin is just really sensitive to sweat. i guess this makes sense cuz my skin is really sensitive and i have excema, so that might add to it..but usually if i scrub it goes mostly away and isnt noticeable until i do something where i get hot and sweaty again. try using a body scrub with the little exfoliating beads in it and put on lots of deoderant, that helps me.
