I am 53 yrs old and was dc MS in 98' I have tried several treatments Avonex Copaxione and even Chemo. The Chemo really helped me a lot but I took the required adminstrations of it and can't take it anymore. Since then, I came out of remission and my nurologist wants me to try Tysabri, or Rebif but really pushing towards the Tysabri.
I am scared to death after reading all the info as I couldn't beleive they would even recommend me trying that when my resistence is allready down and me having upper resperitory problems.

I guess I am looking for some one that had tried either or both and which one should I try 1st?
any help would be greatly appreciated.

I haven't tried either one...only Copaxone but I do follow the latest on Tysabri and it's not pretty.

Tysabri? There is no way I would EVER try this particular MS drug.

It was taken off the market due to several deaths...finally became available and now there have been a few more.

No thank you, I would pass on this game of Russian Roulette.

If these are your only two choices, I would do Rebif or nothing or Copaxone...

Seems like your doctor is looking for a test subject.
