Q: Typing in my sleep

I am on here because I hard a very weird experience. I was suppose to meet a friend online the other night. He lives in Germany so I had to stay up late. I however was tired so I laid down, and ended up falling asleep waiting for him. When I awoke I found I sent him two messages. The first one was "Hello" the Second one was "Good, I mostly sleep alone".
What bothers me is I distinctly remember going to bed on the couch waiting, and I have no recollection of getting up and typing those messages.

Is this first time experience?
Are you going through stressful time these days?

A partial arousal, with symptoms of being both asleep and awake at the same time, that includes doing things not normally done while sleeping (physical or verbal behaviors), without conscious knowledge of what one is doing, is known as parasomnia.

This is my first experience with something that physical. I have fallen asleep in one spot and ended up in another. Like I have fallen asleep in my chair, and ended up on my bed. I can give answers to people when asked questions on my asleep. But I never typed in my sleep before or done anything that extensive.

As for stress...I am sort of under stress. I am enrolling into college right now, and my brother is moving out.

Brings back memories... There's an old saying that the body can do some amazing things if the mind would let it but it can be a scary thing when the mind takes the body for a stroll...

I used to sleepwalk quite a bit, did some weird things, woke up in some weird places too... My sister used to get so freaked out, and so did I to be honest. I've gotten up, made a sandwich, ate it and went back to bed. My sister is watching me the whole time.

Other times i've gone for a stroll outside, thankfully we lived in a small town, no traffic. Woke up in the woods, on the front step, laying down in the street, gone visiting one of my neighbors as well... Imagine their surprise when I knock on their door at 3 in the morning... I've woken up with cuts and bruises with no idea what happened.

I took to shoving a butter knife in the door casing so I couldn't get out of the room at night Sad I often wondered what caused it but to my knowledge, it hasn't happened in years.

Check some informations on internet about somniscription.
Sleepwriting or somniscription is a form of sleepwalking.
Contrary to popular belief, most cases of sleepwalking do not consist of walking around.
