my brother 40 ys has developed typhoid fever which was diagnosed using typhidot test on 4 oct 10 prior to which this type of fever manifetsed in him from 7 sep 10.the fever initallly was aroung 100C but noew hovers around 99.6C and not more than that and ocurs in the morning between 8 and in the evening before 10 O clock.he has no other sypmtoms of typhoid except fever.the dr who was earlier using cefizan 200 mg twice changed it to velgut and aziwok abt 4 days back but the fever is still persisitng.what can we do.

is this a case of multidrug resistant typhoid and if so whats the answer.my bro suffers from scizophrenia since last 15 years and is currently on 10 mg rapitab oleanz medicene
