Q: Two possible fathers

Im 19 weeks pregnant and their are two possible fathers my fiance and a deadbeat ex... my fiance and i have been together 3 years we "broke up" for three month thats were the ex comes in and now im pregnant... my fiance and I want him(fiance) to sign the birth certificate and be the father...If he signs the birth certificate can the ex press the issue?

He could press the issue. He would have to pay for any blood testing though and that is enough to deter the average man. Especially the deadbeat ones!

I would suggest not even telling the ex he is a possibility. If he already knows (or may suspect) just do not press the subject.

Besides, if he does try anything stupid tell him flat out if he is found to be the father he WILL be paying child support whether you have a husband or not. That would probably scare him off.

i no this couple who were together they were expecting, the moment there baby came out the girl told the fella to gte lost and he hasnt seen his son since. he cant afford the legal fees to press the matter... i dont no if that helps??

if i were u i would get married so the baby can be born in a marriage that would make your husband the only father do to the baby being born when u were married. Either way if your ex is the father and wants to be in tha baby's live there isn't a way not to let him, even if the birth certificate is sing by your fiance, that is because the ex can have or demand a DNA and prove that he is the biological father and if he is the father he can even give tha baby his last name even if u want him to or no. Sorry but that is how the law is, the fathers have their rights too.
