I have recently had to stop taking the pill to get my menstrual cycle back in its regular period. I had started my period on the 6th of November and had finished on the 12th of November, a 6 day period. I then started again on the 22nd of November till the 29th of November. Now my reason for this 2nd period i know would be from missing my pill for 4 days and took 2 on the fourth day and then started from the 22nd of November. My period is normally regular but its has been 27 i normally start after 21. Could this only be because on my second period? I know im not pregnant just looking for info as to why this is happening.
Welcome to ehealthforum,
If you have had your usual withdrawal bleeding first and went on to have the birth control pills as usual, then the second bleeding that you describe could be from missing the pills that caused repeat withdrawal of hormones. If you had not been sexually active after your last normal/usual periods/withdrawal bleeding and after missing active pill intake then chances of pregnancy can be ruled out. Continue to take the pills at scheduled time daily and use back-up protection if having intercourse. Wait and watch for your next periods/withdrawal bleeding. Visit your doctor/gynecologist for further evaluation, clarification and assistance.
Thanks for your time it has now been 30 days.. but i know for sure im not pregnant since i have not had intercourse for 2 months. All i have been feeling though is feeling tired.. but hopefully this is my period due soon.
