So I've been taking Alesse for a while now, probably over a year, and I did take a month break in late 2008, but I'm back on it now. My problem is that if I miss so much as even 1 pill, I start my period the next day. I had my period at the end of december, when I was on the green placebo's, nothing strange about that. So I started my new pack and I forgot day 4 and took two instead on day 5, but then I started my period on day 6! So that was 5 days ago now and I"m still bleeding, heavy in the day, light at night. This is really strange as my period are usually about 3 days, with a day or two of spotting at the end, but this has been 5 days of somewhat heavy bleeding! What the heck is going on!
