Q: Two heavy periods a month

I've recently come off the pill ( birth control) i'm 17 years old. and I've started having two heavy periods a month. Is this normal? should i go and see my doctor? im not sure if its my body getting used to coming off the pill or its something to worry about,

Your body can sometimes take up to 6 months to adjust to its own hormones. It also depends when you came off the pill.

When you stop the pill, you will get withdrawal bleeding (what you think was your period every month on the pill is withdrawal bleeding). Your own hormones can then cause a true period shortly after that.
