It's now been 1 month since I was admitted to hospital with meningitis.
The doctors thought it was bacterial but the lumber puncture didn't grow anything. It might have been viral but they couldn't say for certain.

So far I've had a number of common after effects such as head pain, pain behind the eyes and temples. I've also had tinnitus and a few other things.

I also have limb twitches where my leg or arm will jolt slightly. From what I've read this is also known as cerebral palsy?

The thing that worries me the most is something I've only really noticed the past couple of days. If I lay my hand flat and lift any finger slightly, it goes into spasm/tremor. This happens on any finger on both hands. It's definitely got worse in the last couple of days.

I went to the doctors today and they had me doing some coordination tests such as touching his finger then touching my nose. After doing the tests they didn't see anything of concern but can't explain the finger tremors.
They say it could be just because what my body has been through. I certainly didn't have any tremors or limb twitching before meningitis and I do remember when the meningitis was at its worst I had very shaky hands and facial twitches. However I do worry that it could be something more serious like Parkinson's.

Has anyone else had any tremors post-meningitis?
