Q: Tweezing hair on mole ?

I've had a mole on my face since I was a couple years old, about the diameter of a pencil eraser, and it has always been raise but not too much so. I've had it checked out by dermatologists through out the years with little concern. About 2 years ago there was a sist growing in it which the doctor was able to remove by draining it. For the past 5-6 months I've been noticing white heads and facial hair growing out of it though, which was uncommon before that. I have a weird obsession with popping pimples and have been popping them in the mole and tweezing the hair that grows from it, and then they return a day or 2 later and it seems that the mole is becoming irritated, and even growing. I'm going to get it checked out to make sure nothing is wrong but I figured I'd ask if I'm being really stupid by doing this, and if it's a sign of anything physically wrong with my skin (besides a sick mental obsession of course that I should work on too). Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
