Q: tummy tuck with hysterectomy ?

I am scheduled to have a complete hysterectomy 6/24 and have a question. I have researched tummy tucks in the past, so I already have a problem. What I am wondering is can the doctor pull the ab muscles together and stitch them like they do in a tummy tuck while you are cut for the hysterectomy? I have had two c sections, so I have to have a bikini cut for my surgery? I know I will still have the fat and hanging skin but with tightened muscles maybe I won't get the pouch everyone talks about.

What do you think??? Wink

hmmmm. actually that's not a bad question. I could have used that myself. I think there are only certain surgeons that can do that though. Check it out though. I would be curious to know.

I had a tummy tuck with my partial hysterectomy
I had to have a tummy tuck with my partial hysterectomy because of the adhesions and ostomy site differential in skin when they removed my colon. I had a colorectal surgeon, a gynecological surgeon and a plastic surgeon. Had I not had to have one, I would not have opted to go through it. Now, 6 months later I am glad I had everything done at the same time but the scar goes from one hip to the other and I have drain scars. The plastic surgeon said it would be up to 2 years before the scar would be better. Also, they had to make me a new belly button!
