Do you have your period back yet? Is it regular? If so, this is a great sign that you're ovulating again.

I ttc'd for almost a year while breastfeeding Alyvia. It took that long to conceive because I would go months between periods (and ovulation). When my test turned positive it was a shock, because I wasn't honestly expecting it to happen until after I weaned her. She was finally weaned when I was around 8 weeks pregnant (I think - my memory is complete crap).

Yea they're back...have been from the beginning and are regular...every 28 days.

Awesome! You should be ovulating regularly then! All that's left is getting the timing right. It doesn't seem like nursing should affect your fertility

Are you temping/charting? That could help narrow down your fertile days and speed things along a bit.

No I'm not tempting or charting right now. I might try that next month if I don't fall pregnant this month. We're just bd'ing every other day, so we'll see.

I was never able to get a handle on temping, personally. I'd put the thermometer on my nightstand so I could take my temp as soon as I'd wake up, but then Alyvia would find it and go running off with it every day so I couldn't leave it there. And if I left it in the bathroom, it'd be noon before I'd remember "oh yeah, I was supposed to temp this morning!" and then it'd be too late.
