Hello everyone! I wasnt sure where to post this at.... Anyways, I am just to the point where im sick and tired Im way of being fat. Im only 18 years old and im way over weight. I want to look good not only for myself but for my boyfriend too. I have really gotten serious about it and about a week ago i started doing better about what i eat and do. I work 2nd shift which is 2:30 til 10:30, so my evenings are pretty much taken up, but I try to go walking everyday and i stopped drinking soft sodas and Im drinking water and diet sodas. Ive also real careful about what i eat. Like i said its been a week and i have lost 4 pounds!!! Im proud of myself and very excited!

Now i was just wondering if anyone else was in my shoes and what you do to help you! Also does anyone know any looseing weight forums or anything where i could get support... I have a lil support but i feel like tha people around me think that i cant do it and i am going to prove them wrong!

Any advice or suggestions would be helpfull! Thanks!

taking sodas out of your diet can REALLY help you lose weight..esp if you drink them often..my cousin took sodas out of her diet for a few months and lost 10 lbs from doing just that..I think they say that if you drink 1 soda a day then over 1 year if you do this you will have gained an extra 10lbs from soda alone...BAD! anyway..to lose weight youre gonna wanna do at least 30 minutes of cardiovascular activity at least 4 times a week and you need to incorporate weight lifting into your work out as well..you will NOT beef up..that is a common misconception that if women lift weights they will get bulky and muscular..no..we do not have the levels of testosterone required to beef up like men..working out will build muscle, which will in turn burn MORE calories and help you get toned and lose weight quicker!

I THINK MY ADVICE IS GONNA HELP YOU. you must eat proteins very much because it helps in loosing weight and don't eat lipids as fried potatoes and even carbohydrates as bread and sweets . Also you have to do regular exercise every day . don,t forget to drink a lot of water (3 liters ) as it helps in excretion of lipids in urine . Good Luck .

exercise is not the be all & end all
yes, we need exercise but what we need is balance i know there are people here who probably read my posts before but mineral balance is one of the things that absolutely helps with weight loss. If you drink 1 litre for every 40 - 50 pounds of body weight you must always be putting back the minerals that this on it's own will flush out. other wise you will induce unwanted symptoms over time. The best way to gain these minerals is through the use of unprocessed sea, or himalayan salt(84 minerals). it will take time to balance but you will find your blood presure will drop to a healthy level & some other ailments will begin to subside or disappear. These salts are naturally alkalising & will assist in weight loss as i did without any real exercise shedule. taking too much water without the correct levels of salts ( minerals) can actually cause brain damage as has happened in Australia in melbourne last summer.A tip any soda drinks are 50,000 times more acidic than rain water which has a PH of 6 (direct from a tank)that amount of acid is no good for weight loss or anything else even if it doesen't have sugar in it, diet sweeteners are as ,if not more acid than sugars. Go see alkalising & natural unprocessed salts & water in water out that will be your greatest help.
