Have you charted your periods to find out when you are ovulating? There are plenty of websites where you can do this. You can also get an ovulation prediction kit at the drug store.

you can buy an ovulation kit at the pharmacy store. it will tell you when your are fertile and it is a good chance for you to become pregnant.

okay, i see where you state how old you are. i just wanted to make sure i m not giving the secrets out to someone that's 13 or 14 years old.
i m still confused about why do young people want babies so bad. i guess since i already have a child (13 y.o boy).
i m not at all telling not to do it. but i really dont see the strong desire of wanting a baby.
i guess im bias because i struggled with my son's father telling me not to get an abortion and how he would be great father. he happened to be the worse, he played video games all day and didnt want to work, we decided he didnt want to play house and wanted to mess around with other women. he brought my son back sick, ringworm in his head, diarrhea, i had to take off work. he stood my son up many times.
my son is 13 years old and he's going through puberty and he is attitude.
so i have one kid, and i m not having any more. lol

that was the secret "buying an ovulation kit at the drug store". a lot of young people dont know anything about that. it's simple it comes with like seven kits that looks like a pregnancy test strips, you pee on it and it is suppose to tell if your ovulationg or not, i believe you have like a 3 day window when the test confirms your ovulating.
it didnt work for me years ago because my ex worked alot so it was hard.
good luck

Sweetheart you have been given good advice. If you do not want to buy an ovulation kit then chart your periods. My opinion why not wait until you are married? That way you are not putting the cart before the horse. You are planning on having a child together but you haven't made the commitment to each other? Just curious.

Usually when woman decide they want a baby and not marriage are college graduates with a job and are financially able to provide if it ends up just mom and baby. Comically I think back on a post that mentioned a young teenager needs to hold her head up and do your generation proud. You guys are on the right path. You do not need education, a job, or be financially capable of supporting your offspring. Just have a baby then you go from there.

Cinderella,

You and your husband should both get checked by the doctor to see why it is taking so long. There could be many reasons why. Sometimes the man could have a low sperm count or you may not be ovulating. Get it checked out and if nothing is wrong try the ovulating kit that was recommended.

To anyone who's been trying to concieve for 1 year without success i would strongly urge you to seek medical advice,as well as investigating the possibility of fertility problems it will put your mind at ease if they tell you theres nothing wrong,as worrying about possible infertility may stop you from concieving,im speaking from personal experience here i waited 3 years to seek help and within days of my first appointment with the specialists i was pregnant i didnt even get any tests done i firmly believe my worrying was the reason for my infertility for so long as ive been pregnant 3 times since my first son and have gotten pregnant in months not years so seek help now and find out eitherway and get the help you need good luck Smile(Also if your in england we have to wait upto 1 year to get an appointment so the sooner the better if 1 year has past go see your doc to be refered Smile )
