Hello,

I had a miscarriage in july at 5-6 weeks term, and my husband and i have been trying again since then, but 2 periods came one on august 10 ( 40 days later after MSC) and the other on sept. 8. All of my periods lasted 5 days. I was wondering is the miscarriage affecting my trying to get pregnant again? Crying or Very sad

Probably not, it's normal for it to take several months to conceive even if you and your partner are both totally fertile. You might consider charting or temping so you have a better idea of when you're ovulating and most likely to conceive, if you're not doing that already. Good luck to you!

isn't the way of charting is that the 14th day from the first day of your period be the best time ?

Usually, but if your cycle isn't exactly 28 days then 14 days might not be the best time. You get your period 14 days after you ovulate so if you have a 30 day cycle then you should aim for day 16, or if you have a 26 day cycle you should aim for day 12. I think the best bet is just to have a lot of sex around the 14th day and hope for the best. Smile

hello,
Today is the 24(17th day) since my period came(sept.Cool, and we had unprotected sex on the 21 (14th day)and 23(16day).Add today i seem to have light brown liquid discharge. Is that normal because it is happening because it happened 2-3 days after ovulation (13th day (22))??? is it implantation bleeding or what ?
Thanks,
Marihan

Sounds like it could be implantation bleeding, but I guess you'll have to wait another week and a half to be sure. Smile

Nothing to be worried about. Relax. Stress is not good when you're trying to get pregnant or when you are pregnant. Wait and see if you miss your period, then take a test. Please read the package directions as to *when* and how to take the test. Some aren't accurate for a few days after your missed period, so if you take it the day after you miss, you might get a false-negative.

If you are pregnant: congratulations. If you aren't, relax. Things happen in their own time. Remember that this is supposed to be a special time between you and your partner. You're bringing together your love that is going to create your child. That's a beautiful, special thing. Don't let yourself get stressed to the point where you miss out on all the joy and fun the two of you can share.

Good luck.

Hi, I'm new to this forum and I had a D&C on 8/24 at 6-1/2 weeks due to a blighted ovum and still have not gotten my period. I had a negative HPT on 9/6 (to be sure my hormones were back down again) and again on 9/28 (since I hadn't gotten my period yet). I have been charting my basal body temp for the past two weeks, which from the temp showed I ovulated 8 days ago (but I did not experience any CM, I actually experienced CM and slight ovulation pains 2 weeks after my D&C but wasn't charting my temp then). Do you think the ovulation timing right and I should get my period in 4-6 days? I am trying to stay relaxed but it feels like forever waiting for this first period! My doc said to wait 1 cycle before trying again, so I am anxious to get this one out of the way so I can start trying again. Thanks!
