Wow, they want $900 just for first visit. They offer trigger point injections and splints mainly. Any advise.

Can i get a splint cheaper?

I'm in albuquerque. This is the guy my dentist referred me too. Primary doc said sorry can't help you.

my insurance said they don't cover TMJ.

no insurance covers tmj it seems. id like to find someone that does but i thihnk that is dreaming. you can get a splint for as little as 150 to 500----i think i know a doctor down there. you may want to shop around a little before you settle.

thats a typical primary doc respose by the way. let me kno if you need any help with this. i wouldnt go with the injections just yet.
