Okay I can't be that far off track but...I had the bright idea to try to skip a period for the beach. I'm on Tri-Sprintec and now I'm realizing that it's nearly impossible on a Triphasic pill.I skipped the placebo week for the first time ever and I have only been taking the new pack of pills for five days. I have been spotting and getting heavier (more like a real period)this whole week (sun-thurs). I wanted to miss my period for next month at this time but I heard to do a trial to see how my body reacted. So I tried it this month. Apparently it isn't working. My question is now...SHould I contine taking this pack of pills and have this spotting and breakthrough bleeding for prob a while during this....or just stop today with taking this first week of pills and have my period now. Hope it only lasts a week and then start a new pack of pills like normal next sunday?? I'm thinking that second option makes more sense to let my body bleed and get it all out and I'm hoping I'll be quicker to get back on track....???PLEASE HELP if you have experience or wisdom on this. THank You

I don't know the answer to your question, but I have the exact same one! I'm getting married on August 15th, and have been spotting for 23 days now....I've started taking only the dark blue pills (Sprintec instead of Tri-Sprintec) but no change in the spotting. Anyone have any wisdom?
