I take tri-phasic pills and I was wondering about something:

i have heard from many sources that if you throw up within 2 or so hours of taking your pill you should take another to make sure u stay protected.
if you take tri-phasic pills (ones that have 3 different sets of pills for three dif sets of hormones), and you are at the end of one of those sets, can you take one from the new set if you have not absorbed ur first pill? is it important to take all three sets in order and why?
