I have been on tri-Nessa now for 6 months. Will be starting my 7th month next sunday.

I started experiencing side effects in my 5th month. Fatigue, sore boobs, extreme nausea, breaking out, mood swings/irritability, and crying all the time and peeing a lot. I also had a period that was not normal. I spotted for two days, bled light for two days and was done. I am normally heavy from day one.

This month (6th month) all the same side effets, nausea way worse as is the emotional ness. I had major cramping after sex both times this month (contractions were included) I also spotted two times (the cramping lasted 4 days .. I spotted twice a day apart, during the cramping) which was the last week of my active pills. The light blue I beleive. I am supposd to start my period yesterday. Didn't. I kinda started spotting today, a light brown. Normally I spot light pink or bright red.

Is this a sign that this may be the wrong birth control for me?????? To high or low dose?

I did miss a pill last month and I did have unprocted sex (withdrawl) that same day, i remembered the end of this month. I have taken a few pregnancy test. The cheap ones all came out somewhat positive, but First response all negative.

So do i wait til' next month and also to see if I get another weird period or a period at all this month?

Is this nomral to have all these things start so late into taking my medicine??

On birth control, OVER TIME, your period is supposed to get shorter and lighter.

VERY FEW women will have their period on the very first day of placebos, MOST have their period on day 4, and then it stops when they start their new pack.

Birth control makes mood disorders, irritability, and depression, worse in some women. Some women cannot use hormonal birth control.

You can try a new pill, but your bleeding pattern sounds 1000% normal.

What exactly do you mean by the cheap tests came out somewhat positive? Was there a positive line? If so, chances are that you are pregnant. Pregnancy tests, whether it be dollar store tests or brand name tests, all test the same hormone. It is VERY rare to have an incorrect positive pregnancy test, and if you had multiple tests that had a faint positive, it seems like that might be your answer.

A LOT of pregnancy tests give an EVAPORATION LINE.

That is not a positive, but can scare some women into seeing a positive.

That is very true too. Were you following the instructions in the test and only reading the test within the first couple of minutes? As time goes on, an evaporation line can form.
