Q: Tremors in upper body

I have been experiencing tremors in basically my upper body. I first noticed it about 3 years ago but it was so minor i really didn't think much of it, i just thought i was a shaky person. Now i have developed a tremor in my jaw and when i am sitting still, i rock back in forth slightly. What i have noticed is that the tremors seem to be in sync with my heart beat, not sure if that indicates anything. Does anyone have any ideas of what it could be? In all honesty i have been a little wary of seeing the doctor in fear of hearing the worst.

That's what i was scared of hearing. I have done quite a bit of reading on it and one thing that doesn't really connect is that it occurs in people usually around the age of 40. I am only 20, so i was thinking it could be due to something else. I really should just go get it checked out.
