Mononucleosis - Enlarged Spleen
My daughter has Mono and she was told to avoid all contact sports until her spleen has returned to normal size. If the spleen ruptures, it can be life threatening. As far as I know, there is nothing you can take to help your spleen. You just have to take it easy and avoid putting strain on your spleen and in time, it will return to it's normal size.
