Intestinal Disorders Answer A5333

Current medical status: stool test negative for bugs. i am eating bland food like toast, potatoes and fish, drinking water, but every time i eat or drink i still have to run to the loo its not as watery as it was 10 days ago, its soft and loose, i dont get up in night when im led down asleep, it seems worse during day when im moving around, dont understand why.im so weak and tired, please any help would be appreciated.

According to the data you provided, the situation is already improving. You have to be patient for several more days. If the situation does not resolve itself completely, then a post infectious worsening of the irritable bowel syndrome might have developed. Unfortunately, the treatment for irritable bowel syndrome includes only symptomatic help. Antidiarrheals, as well as the diet you already take and over the counter probiotic capsules containing Lactobacillus acidophilus would be everything that can be done for the time being.
