Eleven years ago I had traditional surgery for spinal stenosis whic was very successful. The stenosis has progressed up the spine and I need to have the procedre again. What are the pros and cons between laser and traditional and are there doctors who do the laser procedure who are covered by Medicare? Currently the only place I have found wants $18000 out of pocket in additon to $64000 from Medicare. That is a lot of money for me and I need to know if it is worth it or if there are other resources. Thank you.

I doubt anyone on here can answer this question..You may want to Ask A Doctor here, but again it is kind of a guessing game...Have you talked to different Orthopedics to get their thoughts on this?...This would be the way that I would go....Good luck...
