Hi zigzagzoom. It sounds like you've got a lot going on here. Palilalia is a speech defect marked by abnormal repetition of syllables, words, or phrases. Palilalia is more a symptom of Tourette syndrome, Asperger syndrome, or autism. But have you been diagnosed with schizophrenia? Are you currently seeing a neurologist?

Sometimes palilalia can be treated with trazodone but currently there are no medications specifically designed to target tics, like repeated words. Additionally, complementary and alternative medicine such as diet changes, allergy testing and allergen control, and neurofeedback, are popular treatment methods but no evidence has been shown in the efficient treatment of Tourette syndrome at the moment.

To follow up, I suggest that you consult a neurologist, preferably a neurologist who looks at medicine HOLISITICALLY.
