I been diagnosed with 2 stones in my left kidney. I was told they are at the base of the kidney and are 5mm and 6mm in size. It has been recommended that I that I have the shock wave treatment done to break them up. Is this necessary? I was told I had to be put to sleep as the procedure is too painful to have done awake. That didn't make me feel to comfortable. I was told I might have some bruising and some blood but otherwise I should be fine. Is this true? I am starting a new job soon and I can't take off. I am trying to have it done as soon as possible. Thank you for your time.Lynn Grygiel : Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes
