Q: Treatment for contusions

Hello Sir / Madam

One day while Bowling an cricket ball i occured an pain in my Right arm , few weeks later my brother aged 10 weighing 15 to 20 Kgs falled on my Right arm from top of the bed ( nearly half a meter height ).

After few days i started feeling heavy numbness in my arm ( from March - 08 to till date Nearly 6 Months ) like Muscle Pain , Nerve Pain, Joint pains etc.

I taken an x ray of my upper arm , But doctor says that no damage in my bones.

Then i went to an physiotheraphist , He just gave me the ultra sound treatement for the past 6 days and he told some excercise to do with giving icing to my arms .

But till now i din get any solution

after eating Pain killer Tablets there will be no pain for the next 12 Hours, after that the pain will get continued.

Kindly help me in this regard

According to your symptoms (pain, numbness) and negative X-ray (no fracture) you probably have a soft tissue injury (contusion) of the arm. Injuries like a contusion need a few weeks to heal. Physical therapy, painkillers, and resting should help you but you need to be patient.
