Q: Treatment for cervical cancer ?

i was diagnosed for a cervical cancer and advised by my doctor for chemoteraphy with radiation and brachy.is the procedure safe and can remove the cancer?what are the side effects?i can still be pregnant after the procedure?hope to hear and i need your answers very badly.thank you.

Cervical Cancer and Ovarian Cancer Answer A6575
The treatment that you describe has become the standard treatment for most cases of cervical cancer. Unfortunately, most patients who undergo this type of treatment will become infertile (although you may be able to "bank" your eggs prior to undergoing treatment).

As for the symptoms from these treatments, these are best discussed with your oncologist.
