Current medical status: Varicocele
Current medical treatment: Varicocele

Most doctors and researchers agree that the only way to cure varicocele is to treat them surgically. Varicocele are enlarged veins in the scrotum that are responsible for testicle drainage. In varicocele the blood is not completely drained further, so the testicles are exposed to increased temperatures which damages the spermatozoids. Most of the data that can be found on the net is about the pain relief, but it does not say anything about increasing the already decreased sperm count. So, in the end surgery is still the only recommended treatment for varicocele.
