Current medical status: The head of my penis is very sensitive, mainly the tip..Nerve damage?? I am circumsized...It has been 2 and a half years of pure torture...
Current medical treatment: valtrex once daily (1 year now)

Most doctors and researchers agree that there is not a known surgical procedure that would damage the nerves without causing an erectile dysfunction. What you might want to do is to check with a urologist to see if there is a fungal infection. If no infection is found and the laboratory tests are within normal range, then you might try to numb the mucosa of the penile glans by masturbating more often. The friction on any part of the skin or mucosa makes it thicker and thus less sensitive (for example, the skin on the heals). This method might take more time, but it might solve the problem in the end.
