Have you ever been in a car accident or had some trauma to your neck/head? Also, what does "TIPS" stand for?
The CT scan to identify the lesion is a good precautionary measure. It may be benign like a "bone island", but it is necessary to rule out any malignant etiology. You describe significant degenerative joint disease in your cervical and thoracic spine. An MRI may show disc disease as well.
I can assume that you also have a straightened cervical curve from your description, which may contribute to the pain and origin of the arthritis.
There are several natural therapies you may consider. The first is a good fish oil/omega 3 supplement to help with pain and inflammation. The second would be another anti-inflammatory supplement like a quality anti-oxidant (OPC) or herb like Boswellia. You may consider a neck strengthening exercise which can also help to restore your cervical curve. Here is a video describing such an exercise

You may also consider seeing a chiropractic doctor for restoration of your curve and spinal motion, or even spinal decompression therapy. You may also be suggested cortisone injections, facet injections, pain medications, muscle relaxers, etc. Good luck.
