Fordyce spots is a skin condition in which sebaceous glands without follicles overgrow. The condition is not contagious and is not caused by viruses. No treatment is needed. If the Fordyce spots are an esthetic problem to you, you might want to try Tretinoin gel or cream daily on the affected area. It might slightly improve the condition and prevent it from getting worse.
