Current medical status: My fingers are always cracking and then bleeding and it hurts so much I want to cry myself to bed and never wake up.I can barely bend my fingers and then when people see my fingers they say yuck what wrong with your finger they look discusting. It hurts for any cream, water, fabric, glove, or material to touch them.Plus my twins are always hitting my figers to make them hurt even more.
Current medical treatment: I use a special soap and put a rx item and gloves on at night.I waer gloves to clean up my house.

The treatment for eczema usually involves moisturizers in non-severe cases. Avoiding commercial soap and using a soap substitute such as soap cream might be helpful.

In more severe cases, a corticosteroid cream prescribed by a dermatologist might prove to be the only solution. Even then, the skin might not heal completely and further cause the symptoms.

It is hard to prevent eczema from appearing, because the exact mechanism is hard to determine. If an allergen that causes the symptoms is discovered, then avoiding it might decrease the symptoms.
