Because the pain is related to a certain posture, you might be experiencing pain from neuromuscular origins. The pain is due to a pinched nerve. You might want to try over the counter anti-inflammatory creams because the pressure might have already caused minor nerve inflammation thus further aggravating the condition. Massage in the affected area might also be helpful. If the pain does not go away within several days, you might ask for help from an orthopedist.
