Q: Treating a callous on the thumb

well i ahve this callous on the side of my thumb by the nail and i have no clue how to make it go away i have picked at it and every time it bleeds. I have also tried to pull it off and still it bleeds, I really would like to know how to get rid of it. Do you have any clue?

It is very hard to me to guess what you really have on the thumb without seeing that “callous”. It sounds like a benign tumor.

You could consult your primary health provider first and then you might be sent to a dermatologist or plastic surgeon, depending upon the diagnosis.
