Ok im scared. Im 19 and i have jus found out that i have trich and chlamydia. i was treated for trich and now i have been treated for chlamydia. Im ashamed because i ahd a moment if weakness and now i regret it because he gave me something. I was wondering i didnt know i was on my period until i went to the restroom right after taking the medicine to treat chlamydia, will that affect getting rid of the infection? please help me im embaressed and all alone..

Your period will not have any effect on the medication. I'm assuming you were prescribed an antibiotic, so make sure you take ALL of it, even if you begin feeling better before you finish the medicine.
