I don't have kids yet. Someone in my boyfriend's band had a pregnancy scare. So me and my spouse got to talking what if I got pregnant?

The band is a big part of his income... so he will tour and not be home. While he is gone I would basically be a single parent. Is that an okay way to raise children I know it is done but is it okay?

My sister married a doctor, and he is away for about 80% of the family time. I don't know if there is a "Right" and a "Wrong"...but more involvement from the father is better and healthier for the child, in my opinion. While he is away, perhaps you can arrange for daily web-cam talks or phone calls at least. You can help forge a connection between your husband and your children, but he needs to value it as well.
